Ellison Funeral Is Held in Ralls Monday Afternoon
Services for Mrs. Lena O. Ellison, 81, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Emma Church of Christ with L.V. Ellison and Elvin Upton officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ellison succumbed about 12:10 p.m. Saturday in Ralls Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
The Dallas County native married Aaron D. Ellison on Jan. 18, 1920. He died in 1971. They moved to Lorenzo in 1921, from Erath County. They moved to Lubbock in 1941 and to Ralls in 1944.
Survivors include a son, Elton Ellison of Ralls; a sister, Mrs. Jewel Shoemaker of DeLeon; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
