RALLS (Special) - Services for Cecil Elam, 82, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Joe Jackson.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of the Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Elam died at 1 a.m. Saturday at the Floydada Nursing Home after a brief illness.

Born in Haskell County, he married Mae McDonald on May 23, 1931, in Clovis, N.M. She died on July 21, 1978. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Crosby County since 1916.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Moser of Kingwood; a brother, Joe of Ralls; a sister, Mrs. Jim Halford of Plano; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Don Crump, Clyde Crump, Forrest Griffin, Steve Woods, Dennis Robertson and Charles Gray.
