Services Held at Ralls for Mrs. Annie Elam, 80

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Belle Elam, about 80, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Ralls. Rev. C.M. Fields, pastor, officiated and burial was in Ralls Cemetery.

Mrs. Elam died at 7:15 a.m. Monday in a Lubbock convalescent home where she had been living for about a year. Before that time she had made her home in Crosbyton for a number of years.

A native of Athens, Tenn., Mrs. Elam moved to Ralls from Haskell county in 1916. She lived on the family farm south of Ralls until moving to Crosbyton.

Survivors include two sons, Joe and Cecil, both of Ralls; a daughter, Mrs. Jim Halford, Wylie; two sisters, Mrs. Cal Stevens, Munday and Mrs. Will Harris, Altus, Okla.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were T.E. Weaver, Billy Crump, C.R. Smith, Bob Cornelius, Loren Thorton and Virgil Hampton.
