Services for Edna Edwards, 86, and Charlie Edwards, 90, of Ralls were held at 10 a.m. Monday Oct. 5, 1998 at Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998 at University Medical Center. He died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998 in the Ralls Nursing Home.

He was born Oct. 1, 1908, in Sulpher Spings, OK. She was born Oct. 10, 1911, in Greenville, TX.

They married Dec. 18, 1932 in Lorenzo.

They were both members of the Ralls First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years. She was a homemaker and a retired baby sitter. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He was a member of Emma Masonic Lodge #931 A.F. & A.M. They lived in Ralls most of their lives.

They were preceded in death by two sons, Stanley Earl and Jess.

She was preceded in death by two sisters. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Their survivors include five sons; Arville of Stephenville, Cecil of Odessa, Troy of Shallowater, David of Midland and John of Hurst; two daughters, Lois Gandy of Odessa and Sue Post of Midland; 26 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers, Jack of Grandbury and Howard of Kingman, AZ.

Her other survivors include three brothers, J.T. Henderson of Coleman, Judson Henderson of Brownfield, and Bill Henderson of Odessa.
