Clarence T. Doss Services Today

U.S.Flag  RALLS (Special) - Services for Clarence Truman (Jack) Doss, 61, long time West Texas area resident and former professional boxer, will be at 2 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. O.M. Fields, pastor of Ralls First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Doss, West Texas resident the past 35 years, died Sunday morning at his residence in Amarillo. He had lived in Amarillo 10 years.

A native of Bend, Tex., Doss was a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and a member of Amarillo First Baptist Church. He was also a member of Amarillo Painters Union, Local No. 544.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. L.E. Doss, Austin; a daughter, Mrs. Jackie Dale Smith, Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Glendon E. Austin, and Stanley A. Littlefield; three sisters, Mrs. Ella May Burns, Austin, Mrs. Cladyne Wampler, Lubbock, and Mrs. Virginia Lee Lagerstam, Lyford, TX; and two grandchildren.
