Mrs. Florilla Cypert, a Lorenzo area resident since 1931, was claimed by death at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in West Texas Hospital in Lubbock following a brief illness. She was 81.Funeral rites were conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Meeks, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Cypert moved to Lorenzo community in 1931 from Collinsworth County. She and Benton Homer Cypert were married Oct. 3, 1911, in Tunnersville. He preceded her in death July 18, 1958.
Survivors include three sons, Harl Cypert and Marvin Cypert, both of Ralls; one daughter, Mrs. Earl C. Abell of Ralls; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
