Services for Addie Mae Cypert, 85, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at the First United Methodist Church in Ralls with the Rev. Dee Slocum of Amarillo officiating.

Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Cypert died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, at Bender Terrace Nursing Home in Lubbock.

She was born Sept. 2, 1916, in Tell, TX. She married Benton Harl Cypert on Dec. 26, 1932, in Ralls. He died Dec. 15, 1983.

She was a member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church and the Lorenzo Study Club. She moved to Lubbock in February 1995 from Lorenzo and had lived all her life in Lorenzo.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Green and James T. Green, and one sister, Georgia Polvadore.

Survivors include two daughters, Clona Kelley of Grapevine and Beth Thorne of Lubbock; a brother, Charles Green of Ralls; two sisters, Orene Morris Key and Charlotte Loper, both of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Benton Kelley, Dana Kennedy and Cy Thorne; three great-grandchildren, Kristina Kelley, Jason Kennedy and Chelsea Kennedy.
