RALLS (Special) - Services for Edna Sales Collins, 81, of Lubbock will be at 4 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Cain, pastor of Lubbock´s Calgary Baptist Church, and the Rev. David Black, pastor of Lubbock´s St. Matthew´s United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 5:10 p.m. Thursday in Lubbock´s St. Mary´s Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Navarro County and had lived in Robertson Community, Aspermont and Ralls before moving to Lubbock in 1981. She married Jim Sales on Nov. 14, 1934, in Crosbyton. He died on Feb. 27, 1979. She married Jack Collins on Oct. 17, 1981, in Lubbock. He died in November 1986. A son, Jimmie Ed Sales, died on April 23, 1984.
She was a farmer, a housewife and a member of the Lubbock Christian Singles Club, Three R´s Club, Senior Citizens of Ralls and Lubbock´s St. Matthew´s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
