Rosary for Pedro Calderon, 67, of Ralls will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004 in the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday, Sept. 13, 2004 in the same church with Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mr. Calderon passed away Saturday afternoon at his Ralls home with his family by his side. He was born January 18, 1937 in Robstown, Texas to Jesus and Andrea Salas Calderon. On May 19, 1959 he married Margarita Ruiz in Ralls. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church, Cursillista Mens Organization,was past CCD teacher for the 4th grade and past President of the Parish Council. He was a church usher and a member of the Eucharistic.
Pedro was a farmer and had worked for Eddie Verett for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife Margarita of Ralls, two sons, Trinidad Calderon of Ralls and Juan Jose Calderon of Plainview, three daughters, Maria Elena Calderon of Ralls and Maria Teresa Calderon and Rose Maria Rivera, both or Lubbock, two brothers, Jose Calderon of Ralls and Juan Hernandez of Robstown and a sister, Maria Mungia of Lewisville, Texas, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
