FLOYDADA (Special) Services for John G. Cage, 85, will be at 3 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church with the pastor of the Dougherty Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.
Cage, a retired farmer and rancher of the Dougherty community, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Lockney General Hospital following a short illness. A native of Tennessee, he was married to Ella Stapleton in 1907 in Alvord. They came to Crosby County in 1919 and moved to the Dougherty community in 1925.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. R.C. Hay of Lubbock; two sons, Horace and Harlin Cage, both of Floydada; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
