Carrie Boydstun

Mrs. Carrie A. Boydstun, a longtime Crosby County resident before moving in 1948 to Muleshoe, was claimed by death Sunday in a Muleshoe nursing home. She was 93.

Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Muleshoe Church of Christ with Terry Bouchelle officiating and David Cox assisting.

Burial was made at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Ralls Cemetery.

A native of Prescott, Ariz., Mrs. Boydstun was a member of the Muleshoe Church of Christ, the Muleshoe Senior Citizens Club and the Muleshoe Rebekah Lodge.

She and John T. Boydstun were married Dec. 22, 1901 in Rising Star.

Survivors include three sons, W.R. Boydstun of Snyder, James Boydstun of Ralls and Lealand Boydstun of Brownwood; four daughters, Bertha Barnes of Modesto, Calif., Maurine Price of Lamesa, Opal Talley of Muleshoe and Dorothy Knight of Lubbock; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 21 great great grandchildren.
