RALLS (Special) — Graveside services for Richard Jerry Anstead, 59, of Las Vegas, Nev., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carroll & Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Anstead died Monday, Aug. 19, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was born in Crosby County. He graduated from Abilene High School and Abilene Christian College. He earned a master´s degree from Michigan State University.
He taught school for many years, and he was dean of Technical and Vocational Education at Odessa College. He later worked as an advertising salesman.
Survivors include two daughters, Tonja Rizai of Chicago, Ill., and Celeste Lynch of Spring; his father, Ulric Anstead of Abilene; a brother, Ronnie of Bastrop; and five grandchildren.
