LORENZO (Special) - Services for Odell Valentine, 74, of Lorenzo are pending with Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.He died at 5:40 p.m. Monday in Lubbock's Highland Hospital after a brief Illness.
He was born in Edgewood and moved to Lorenzo in 1967 from Levelland. He married Nell Timmons on May 16, 1934, in Brownfield. He was a retired farmer and a member of First Baptist Church. A son, Gary, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, John of Lubbock, Ronald of Sundown and Joe of Amarillo; a daughter, Charlotte Gibbs of Lorenzo; three brothers, John, Raymond and Woodie, all of Edgewood; two sisters, Velma McWilliams of Edgewood and Martha Airhart of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
