Services for Daisy Lee Sparkman, 79, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ralls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dick Richards, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. E.R. McGregor of Ralls.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Sparkman died at 2 p.m. Friday in a Ralls nursing home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Hill County, Mrs. Sparkman came to the South Plains in 1918 from Stamford.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Guy Sechrist of Ralls, Mrs. David Sechrist of Lockney and Mrs. Lynn Courtney of Lubbock; two brothers, M.A. Greer of Idalou and M.O. Greer of Ralls; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Colville of Ralls, and Mrs. Anna Bullman of Littlefield; her mother, Mrs. Alice Greer of Ralls; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sparkman's grandsons were pallbearers.
