Services for Pearley May Koop, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 17, 1989 in the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Golden, pastor, officiating.

Burial followed in the Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Koop died at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 1989 in the Ralls Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born Feb. 13, 1905 in Paris, Texas and married Sam Koop December of 1954 in Lubbock. Mr. Koop died January 21, 1975. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors: two sons: Williams Henry Chandler of Rogersville, MO; and Wilburn Lee Chandler of Lorenzo; three stepsons: Earl Koop of Panola, Alabama; Louie Koop of Santa Anna, CA; and Bill Koop of Lubbock; two daughters: Pauline Graves of Garden Grove, CA; Doris Brandt of Hawthorne, CA; six stepdaughters: Mildred Miller of Lubbock, Jane Holman of Ft. Worth, Alva Maddox of Seymour, MO, Della Manley of Lubbock, Margie Wilson of Leslie, AR, Jane Kuchar of Altus, OK, one sister: Lizzie of Paris, TX; 38 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Pall Bearers: Sam Miller, Carl Chandler, Ricky Timmins, David Chandler, Bill Manley, William Manley.
