RALLS (Special) - Services for Thomas L. Kidwell, 76, of San Antonio are pending with Carter-Adams Funeral Home here. Kidwell, a former South Plains resident, died at 3:45 p.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

A native of the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C. Kidwell was an federal civil service employee. He was past master and perpetual member of Potomac Lodge No. 5 in Georgetown. He had previously lived in Lorenzo and was a former Lubbock Independent School District employee. He had worked at several Air Force bases, including Webb AFB in Big Spring. He moved to San Antonio in 1961 and was a Methodist. He married Sarah Jane Cherry Oct. 10, 1941 in Georgetown.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Joan Hines of Citrus Heights, Calif.; two sisters, and two grandchildren.
