Funeral services for Pablo Guzman, 75, of Lubbock, will be 11a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Andres Mendoza officiating; internment will follow at Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2009, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Mr. Guzman passed away on March 4, 2009, at home, with his loved ones by his side. He was born on March 2, 1934, to Jose and Margarita Guzman in Zapata, Texas. He married Dionisia Eva Martinez on Jan. 11, 1958, in Lubbock.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dionisia Guzman; three sons, Javier Guzman Sr., Paul Guzman, and Jaime Guzman; brothers, Jose Guzman Jr. and Heriberto Guzman; sister, Maria De la Luz Nava; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
