Mass for Margarita V. Guzman, 82, of Lorenzo will be said at 4 p.m. today in St. Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Home of Lubbock.
She died Sunday in South Park Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and married Jose Guzman in 1925. He preceded her in death. She had lived in Lorenzo since 1951.
Survivors include four sons, Elpidio of Baytown, Paublo of Lorenzo, Heriberto of New Deal and Jose Jr. of Shafter, Calif.; two daughters, Clara Hernandez of Lorenzo and Maria DeLaLuz Nava of Petersburg; two brothers, Juan Villarreal and Antonio Villarreal, both of San Ignacio; a sister, Damiana Torres of New Home; 32 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren.
