Services for Wilburne Gray, 80, of Lorenzo were at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Dennis Williams and the Rev. Kerry Hurst officiating. Burial followed in the Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

He passed away Monday, April 10, 2006 in Lorenzo.

Wilburne was born September 8, 1925 in Lorenzo to the late William Scott and Mary (Wilson) Gray.

He had lived in Lorenzo all his life and was a member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church. Wilburne was a carpenter and owner Gray Construction.

Survivors include; two daughters; Susie Bullion of Amarillo and Gloria Humphreys of Brownwood, four brothers; Jessie of Muleshoe, Ed of Lorenzo, San of Little Rock, Arkansas, Paul of Brownwood, a sister Udell Scroggins of Round Rock three grandchildren; Coby Bullion of Lorenzo, Justin Holley of Sealy, Donice Darby of Stephenville and four great grandchildren.
