Graveside services held for Tommy Edwards of LorenzoGraveside services for Tommy Edwards, 57, of Lorenzo will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 18, 2007 in the Lorenzo Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
Tommy passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Covenant Specialty Hospital in LUbbock. He was born April 15, 1950 in Turkey, Texas to the late Clyde and Orpha Lee (Stanfield) Edwards. On August 3, 1973 he married Lucrecia Rainwater in Lubbock.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and was a truck driver for Spade Trucking Company. He had lived in Lorenzo for 27 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Larry Edwards who died on March 29, 2007. Survivors include; his wife Lucrecia of Lorenzo, a son; Daniel and wife Jenny Edwards of Lorenzo, a daughter; Deborah and husband Michael Fink, Jr. of Lorenzo, a granddaughter; Nicole Edwards, a grandson Keegan Edwards and one on the way, a sister; Shelia and husband Larry Wiggley of Haskell, a brother; Mickey Edwards of Lubbock, and a sister-in-law; Donna Edwards of Idalou.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo.
