Lucrecia Edwards 60 of Lorenzo passed away Thursday February 12, 2015. She was born July 19, 1954 in Spur Texas to Alford and Rosa Lee Ellis Rainwater.
She married Tommy Wayne Edwards August 3, 1973 in Lubbock Texas. Lucrecia could take anything and make it beautiful, she loved crafts and was very good at making things. She loved gospel music, games, and fishing. The time she spent with her family was the most precious thing to her, especially her grandchildren. Lucrecia is preceded in death by her husband and mother.
She is survived by a daughter; Deborah Fink and husband Michael of Lorenzo, a son; Daniel Edwards and friend Crystal of Ralls, her father Alford Rainwater of Lorenzo, a brother; Kevin Rainwater and wife Terry of Roaring Springs, two sisters; Melisa Fullingim and husband Coke of Petersburg, Lorainne Robb and husband Berle of Lorenzo. Lucrecia also leaves behind her grandchildren; Nicole, Keegan, Abigail, and Avery Edwards, Larry Fink, and Deryk Ogburn. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday February 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo.
Burial will follow in Lorenzo Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo. A visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo. Family suggest memorials be made to the Fire Departments or EMS of Crosby County.
