Services for Ford Greenhaw, 87, of Estacado were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2004 at Petersburg First Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Rine officiating.
Burial will follow in Estacado Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
Mr. Greenhaw passed away Thursday morning, September 2, 2004 at his home. He was born March 19, 1917 at Desdemona, Texas to Walter F. and Corbell Brian Greenhaw. They moved to this area in 1920 from Desdemona. June 26, 1938 he married Mabel Pauline Mabry in Estacado. He was a member of the Estacado Baptist Church and was a member of the Texas and New Mexico Game Fowl Breeders Association.He is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Greenhaw.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel of Estacado, a son and his wife, Mabry and Twig Greenhaw of Crosbyton, a daughter, Nancy Greenhaw of Lubbock, 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Estacado Cemetery Association c/o Peoples Bank P.O. Box 490 Lorenzo, Texas 79343.

Services for Mabel Greenhaw, 88, of the Estacado Community, will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at the Petersburg First Baptist Church with Tom Brian officiating. Burial will be in Estacado Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
Mabel was born on Oct. 9, 1919, in Southland to the late R. Q. and Lula (Lester) Mabry. On June 26, 1938, she married Ford Greenhaw in Estacado. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2004. She had lived in the Estacado community all her life and was the last remaining member of the Estacado Baptist Church. Mabel had also been a Flame Room Hostess for the Pioneer Natural Gas Co. for many years.
Mabel is preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and W. A. Mabry; and a sister, Maudie Pearl Sherrod.
Survivors include, a son and his wife Mabry, and Twig Greenhaw of Crosbyton; a daughter; Nancy Greenhaw of Lubbock; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Estacado Cemetery, C/O People's Bank, P.O. Box 490, Lorenzo, TX 79343.
