Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Mrs. Ella L. Wren, 86, of Crosbyton died at 9 a.m. Friday at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Wren are slated for 2 p.m. Monday in the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Loyd Hall, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Mrs. Wren was a native of Runnels County. She moved to the Plains area in 1900. She was Crosby County treasurer from 1915 to 1925 and was a bookkeeper for Nixon Dry Goods here. She was a former member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, Walter Young of Seagraves; one brother, Ernest Davies of Lubbock; one sister, Nina Bonine of Tucson, AZ; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
