Final rites for Mr. John Phillip Waller, 74, were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Crosbyton Church of Christ, with H. Hall, of Ralls, assisted by F. L. Paisley and Leonard Dennis, local minister, officiating. Burial was in Crosbyton cemetery with King Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Waller died Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following several months of ill health. He had been a resident of Crosby county for about 25 years.
He was born in Delta County, Texas, November 26, 1874, and moved to Crosby county about 1924.
He is survived by the wife; three sons, Wolf Waller of Ralls, Robert Waller of Salinas, Calif., and Thomas Waller of Crosbyton; two daughers, Mrs. E.L. Watson of Columbus, N. Mex., and H.E. Pack of Freer; four grandchildren Bob Watson of Baton Rouge, La., La Rue Pack of Temple, Eddie John and Danny Waller of Ralls, and a brother, J.R. Waller of Ben Franklin.
Pallbearers were O.B. Buck, Sam Grizzle, Howard Mayfield, Albert Lieske, Roy Meacham and Henry Robertson.
Out-of-town relatives present for the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Waller and John Waller of Ben Franklin, Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Weird, Billy and Adrian of Slaton, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Teague of Abernathy, Mrs. A.J. Rainwater of Ralls and Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Jones of Lorenzo.
Out-of-town friends attending were Mrs. E.R. Melton, Mrs. Bobby McHamm, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Chance, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sales and son and Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Gillon, all of Ralls; Mrs. J.W.Sales and Jane, of Lorenzo; Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Bartlett, Elvis Colville, Harold Rhew and A.J. Sales all of Lubbock, and Mr. and Mrs. Horace Blevins of Idalou.

Funeral rites were read at 10 a.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Sarah Waller, 88, in the Crosbyton Church of Christ. Mrs. Waller, a longtime Crosbyton resident, died about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Crosbyton hospital.
Burial was in Crosbyton cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E.L. Watson of El Paso and Mrs. Clara Pack of Raymondville; three sons, Thomas and Wolf Waller of Lubbock and Robert Waller of Salinas, Calif.; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
