Graveside Services were held for Lonnie Wallace, 61, of Crosbyton

Graveside services for Lonnie David Wallace, 61, of Crosbyton were at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 4, 2008 in the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Lonnie passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at VistaCare Center in Lubbock.

He was born on April 14, 1946 in Crosbyton to the late William Olen and May Bell (Thomas Wallace. On November 16, 1968 he married Julia "Judy" Reasoner in Crosbyton.

Lonnie had lived in Crosbyton for the past 15 years, moving from the Ralls area in the early 1990's. He enjoyed working with his hands especially carving wood, general carpentry and anything mechanical.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years; Judy of Crosbyton, a son and his wife; Shane and Angela Wallace of Idalou and a daughter and her husband; Heather and Dusty Cornelius of Crosbyton. Mr. Wallace also had eight grandchildren; Nichole King, Blace Wallace, Chase Young, Brooks Wallace, Keeley Cornelius, Ty Cornelius, Bonnor Wallace and Kynzee Cornelius, a brother; Troy Wallace of Crosbyton, two sisters and their husbands; Mary and Bobby Phipps of Quitman, Texas and Wanda and Ronnie Stroud of Olney.

Serving as pallbearers were Richard Wallace, Kevin Callaway, James Owen Stroud, John Berry, Terry Kirk and Steve Munoz. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Melvin Dewbre, Bobby Marley and Domingo Granado.
