8-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF ERNEST WALLACE DIES MARCH 25
Katherine Wallace Had Been Ill for 12 Days; She Is Buried HereKatherine Wallace, 8 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wallace, died March 25 at a Lubbock sanitarium after an illness of 12 days. Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God church in Lubbock with Rev. J. O. Throckmorton conducting the service. Burial was in the Crosbyton cemetery with A. A. Hatchell in charge.
Pallbearers were: Travis, Olen and Darwin Wallace, uncles of the child, and Fred Mize. Honorary pallbearers were: Jeff Meek, Lewis Harber, Clarence Wallace, and Matthew Earp. Flowers were in charge of Bertha Wallace, Wanell Wallace, Luella Lansford and Mildred Grubaugh.
Mrs. Clara Taylor and baby of Kirkland, and Mrs. Ellen Taylor and Less Johnson of Childress, sisters of Mrs. Wallace, were present at the funeral.
