Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Melissa H. Wall, 82, former resident of the Broadway Community were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Crosbyton First Methodist Church. Rev. Carlton Thomason, pastor, officiated.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wall died Friday at a Portales, NM, hospital. She had not lived in Crosbyton since 1945, moving there from Crosbyton. She was a resident of the East Plains for many years. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Her husband, John H., preceded her in death in 1941.

Survivors include four sons, Amos Wall and Burl Wall, both of Crosbyton, Charlie Wall of Portales, and Jim Wall, St. Vrain, NM, eight grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
