Obituary
A.B. Wall, a well known Crosby County resident for over a half a century, was pronounced dead on arrival early Monday morning at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart seizure after Mr. Wall became ill at his home.He was 75.
Memorial rites were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pansy Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. T.R. Bedford of Abilene and the Rev. Preston Beeks of Odessa.
Adams Funeral Home directed burial in Crosbyton Cemetery.
Born Aug. 20, 1905 in Wise County, Tex., A.B. Wall moved to Crosby County in 1924 from Wise County.
He and the former Ivy Irene Campbell were married Dec. 13, 1925 in Crosbyton.
A retired farmer, Mr. Wall was a member of the Pansy Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ivy; one son, Don Wall of Crosbyton; two daughters, Fontella Sweeney of Green River, Wyoming and LaVelle Minder of Idalou; one brother, J.B. wall Sr. of Portales, NM; 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
