Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Mrs. Marphy Wealthie Spence, 76, will be at 3 p.m. today in the Pansy Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Victor Crabtree of Dickens and the Rev. Leonard Sims, pastor. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery directed by King Funeral Home.

Mrs. Spence, a resident of Crosby County since 1909, died about 8:45 p.m. Thursday in Crosbyton Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, R.M.; four daughters, Mrs. Alene Thornhill, Mrs. Nellie Belle Winegar, and Mrs. Alma Willie Winegar, all of Crosbyton, and Mrs. Georgia Mae Newman of Dumas; four brothers, Carl Starrett of Marion, Ill., Conda Starrett of Kalgary, Stacy Starrett of Lubbock and Palmer Starrett of Crosbyton; five sisters, Mrs. Shadie Woods of Houston, Mrs. Hallie Smith, Mrs. Rella Retheal, Mrs. Lena Givens and Mrs. Rosa Thornhill, all of Crosbyton.
