Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Mrs. Mary E. Simpson, 84, of Midland will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. David Treat, pastor, and the Rev. Ted Brian, a Baptist minister from Crosbyton, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Simpson died about 8:50 a.m. Friday in Midland Memorial Hospital.

A native of Enid, Okla., Mrs. Simpson grew up in the Emma Community, where her parents settled as a pioneer family.

She married Vernon Cecil Simpson Dec. 19, 1918, in Crosbyton. He died March 9, 1962.

Mrs. Simpson moved to Midland from Crosbyton nine years ago. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Julian M. of Midland; and two grandchildren.
