U.S.Flag   Graveside services for C. K. Simmons, 74, of Crosbyton will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

C. K. passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Lubbock. He was born Dec. 15, 1934 in Childress. A farmer, C. K. had lived in Crosbyton most of his life and was a US Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maggie K. (McCoy) and Milton Miles Simmons; and a sister, Vivian Simmons.

Survivors include his wife, Jane "Skip" Simmons of Crosbyton; a daughter, Reba Cargile of Crosbyton; two brothers and their wives, Cleo and Ruby Simmons of Crosbyton, and Elmer and Wanell Simmons of Lorenzo; and two grandchildren, Kristen Cargile and Ross Cargile.

The family suggests memorials to the McAdoo Fire Department.
