Obituary
Graveside services for Thelma Frances Sandel, 82, of Amarillo will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 1989 at Crosbyton Cemetery with Jim York, minister of Church of Christ in Crosbyton officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 3 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 1989 in the Heritage Convalescent Center in Amarillo after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Pecan Gap and married Hubert Sandel in 1925 in Pecan Gap. He died in 1966. She was a retired nurse and member of the Church of Christ. She moved to Springlake in 1952 from Crosbyton and moved to Amarillo in 1957.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Sandel of El Reno, OK, and Don Sandel of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
