Rosary for Xavier Sanchez, 11, of Lubbock will be said 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the same church with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
He passed away on March 6, 2009 in Lubbock. Xavier was born February 28, 1998 in Lubbock and was a third grader at Willow Bend Elementary School in Wolfforth. He had lived in Lubbock most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jorge Luis Gutierrez on January 21, 2009, and two brothers, Fabian Sanchez and Isaac Gutierrez, who also died on March 6, 2009.
Survivors include his parents, Josie Gutierrez and Richard Hernandez of Lubbock; maternal grandmother, Blanca Salinas of Crosbyton; and paternal grandmother, Juliana Hernandez of Lubbock.
