A Prayer Service for Maria Jardon Sanchez, 60, of Plainview will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Calvario Community Church. Funeral services will be at 9:00 AM, Friday, June 27, 2008 at the same church with Tommy Murillo officiating. Burial will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Maria passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at VistaCare Center in Lubbock.She was born December 17, 1947 in Lubbock to Jose and Tomasa (Bustamante) Jardon. She married David Sanchez on July 17, 1993 in Plainview.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Tomasa Jardon.
Survivors include her husband David of Plainview, a son and his wife; Homer and Rosie Betancourt of Immo Kalee, FL, a daughter; Lisa Betancourt of Plainview, a brother; Faustino Jardon of Crosbyton, four sisters; Olga Salazar of Lorenzo, Sonea Moreno of Crosbyton, Anna Rios of Lubbock, Velma Garcia of Del Rio, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Orlando Jardon, Gabriel Garcia, Xavier Rios, James Salazar, Micheal Salazar and Alex Luna.
