Obituary

Services for Moda Lee Reed, 93, of Crosbyton were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 1991, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Griffin, Pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Reed died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1991, in Crosbyton Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Seymour and lived in Crosbyton most of her life. She married Marion D. "Bill" Reed on Nov. 4, 1922, in Crosbyton. He died on June 18, 1969. She was a housewife and joined the First Baptist Church in 1912.

She was a member of the Esther Sunday School Class and taught homemaking class and the juniors class for 50 years. She was a choir member and played piano for the church. She graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1916 and attended West Texas State University.
