Services for J.C. Reagan, 80, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 1996, in the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Rev. Les Griffin, pastor, officiating.
Burial followed in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mr. Reagan died at 9:56 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 1996, in the Crosbyton Hospital following an illness.
He was born Sept. 30, 1916, in Haskell County, TX, and married Katie Bea Wells on May 2, 1962, in Knox City, TX. He was a member of the First Baptist Church for 35 years before retiring. He moved to Crosbyton in 1964 from Spur. A son, Billy Reagan preceded him in death in April of 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Reagan of Crosbyton; three sons, Bobby Reagan of Houston, Jackie Reagan of Spur, and Danny Reagan of Dallas; one daughter, Brenda Sweam of Dickens; three sisters, Ruby West, Anna B. Lain, and Francis Cypert all of Munday; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Katie B. Reagan, 86, of Crosbyton passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Crosbyton Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton with Rev. Taylor Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the personal care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 7 P.M., Friday, December 21, 2012, at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
Katie was born September 25, 1926, in Spur TX., to Daniel and Minnie (Murphy) Wells. She married the love of her life J.C. Reagan on May 2, 1962 in Knox City; in 1964 they made Crosbyton their home. Katie worked as a nurse at Crosbyton Nursing Home for many years; a member of the First Baptist Church she enjoyed sharing the word of God. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Reagan, her parents, Daniel and Minnie Wells, six sisters, Gladys Perry, Mozelle Chambers, Laura Page, Jeanett Lemond, Zenobia Cornley,Mary Stanley, one brother, Buster Wells, three step-sons, Bobby, Jackie and Billy Reagan.
Survivors include her son, Danny Reagan and wife Rebecca of Palmer TX., five grandchildren, Nathan Reagan, Bobby Hobbs and wife Katie, Zachary Hobbs, Holly Hobbs, 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
