CROSBYTON — Graveside services for Sarah Virginia "Jenny" Ray, 83, of Lubbock were Saturday at Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.She died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002.
She was born Jan. 21, 1918, in Ames. She married Ray Jones in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death. She married Frank A. Ray on Dec. 7, 1956, in Crosbyton. He died April 19, 1996.
She was a nurse at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital for many years. In addition to Lubbock, she had lived in Dickens and Crosbyton.
Survivors include a son, Jim Jones of El Paso; three daughters, Bonnie Harkins of Lubbock, Linnie Shreffler of Richardson and Vikki Evans of Huntsville, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
