U.S.Flag CROSBYTON (Special) - Services are set for 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Crosbyton for former Lubbock resident Wildon Lance Parker, 47, of Amarillo who was killed in a two-vehicle crash east of Amarillo about 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Officiating will be the Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor, with burial in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Parker was pronounced dead at the scene of the Cherry Street and U.S. 287 crash by Justice of the Peace Bonita Potter. His wife, Lula, 44, and daughter Robin, 13, were treated at Northwest Texas Hospital and released.

Driver of the other vehicle, Marcus Petropoulos, 17, also of Amarillo, escaped injury.

At least two passersby at the wreck scene reported a stop sign at the intersection had been down since Thursday night.

A native of Crosbyton, Parker moved to Lubbock in 1962 and was employed as a salesman. His brother is Lubbock Police Sgt. Delmer Parker.

In July Parker was transferred from Lubbock to Amarillo. He was a member of McKenzie Masonic Lodge of Lubbock.

Other survivors include two daughters, Carla Parker of the home and Mrs. Deborah Medlock of Lubbock; a son, Michael Parker of Lubbock; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Parker of Barnsdall, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. J.T. Easter of Barnsdall; two brothers, Jeri Parker of Jayton and Donald Parker of Crosbyton; and two grandchildren.
