Dickens Man Will Accept Pen Term
DICKENS, April 23 Phillip Pair, 25, of McAdoo, convicted of wife murder and given a 15-year sentence, has decided to accept it and is in jail here awaiting arrival of the state prison transfer agent. Pair was found guilty of the shotgun slaying of his wife, Agnes, October 3, 1936. He filed for an appeal but withdrew it. When Mrs. Pair was killed their twin boy and girl were six months old. The case was tried in 110th district court before Judge A. J. Folley.
