ARMANDO ALVEREZ MINOR was born on August 26, 1949 in Gilette, Texas to Andres V. Minor and Inez Alvanez Minor. He joined the Armed Forces while in CROSBYTON, TX. He began a tour of duty on December 18, 1968 and served as a 11B2P in the Army. In 1 year of service, he attained the rank of SP4/E4.

On June 14, 1969, at the age of 19, ARMANDO ALVEREZ MINOR perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Thua Thien
