W. Z. McELROY, 61 BURIED IN LOCAL CEMETERY TUES.
Was Former Resident of Mt. Blanco North of CrosbytonW. Z. McElroy, 61, retired farmer of Ralls, was claimed by death at his residence in Ralls at 8:30 o'clock Monday night. Mr. McElroy formerly lived in the Mt. Blanco community north of Crosbyton.
Funeral services were conducted in the Church of Christ in Crosbyton Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock, with B. G. Dobson officiating. He was buried in the Crosbyton cemetery.
Survivors are his wife: four sons, Owen of Lorenzo, Curtis of Plainview, Zack of Washington, D. C. and J. L. of Ralls; three daughters, Mrs. R. R. Ray of Ralls, Mrs. J. L. Jones of Amarillo, and Mrs. J. L. Hood of Temple; a brother E. E. McElroy of Sweetwater; four sisters, Mrs. Olen Fields of Floydada, Mrs. B. W. Pounds of Palistene, Mrs. W. A. Whatley of Houston, and Mrs. Ben fields; and seven grandchildren.
