Services for Richard McDaniel, 60, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 1993, in Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
McDaniel died Friday, Aug. 13, 1993, at his residence. Justice of the Peace Clyde Davis ruled natural causes in the death.
He was born June 6, 1933, in Paoli, Okla., and married JoAnn Wilkins on April 9, 1955, in Crosbyton. He moved to Crosbyton from Oklahoma in 1935. He was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn McDaniel of Crosbyton; his father, Roma McDaniel of Ralls; two sons, Richard W. of Nolanville and Paul D. of Crosbyton; seven daughters, Joana Jean Johnson of McAdoo, Wanda Kay Clevenger of Beaumont, Sheila Diane McMurtrey of Lockney, Peggy Sue Kirkland of Levelland, Rebecca Lynn Strunk of Grand Prairie, Mary LeVon Crumley of Ralls and Alice Marie Fowler of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Mary Helen Kirkendall of Dallas; 20 grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
