CROSBYTON Services for JoAnn McDaniel, 59, of Crosbyton will be at 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Crosbyton with the Rev. Les Griffin officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at Floydada Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 26, 1940, in Waurika, Okla. She married Richard McDaniel on April 9, 1955, in Crosbyton. He died Aug. 13, 1993. She moved to the Crosbyton area in 1977. She was a dietitian at the Crosbyton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include two sons, Richard of Copperas Cove and Paul of Crosbyton; seven daughters, Joana Johnson of Crosbyton, Wanda Clevenger of Beaumont, Sheila Phelps of Lubbock, Peggy Kirkland of Wylie, Rebecca Strunk of Gatesville, Mary McDaniel of Lubbock and Alice McMurrian of Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Cleta Vaughn of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Gloria Peradez of Beaumont; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
