Obituary

Crosbyton Man Rites Thursday

CROSBYTON (Special) - Earnest A. Maze, 58, of Rt. 1, McAdoo died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in Security State Bank in Ralls following an apparent heart attack. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Ralls physician.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Roger Turner, minister, and Leonard Dennis, minister of the McAdoo Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.

Maze, who had lived in Crosby County most of his life, had lived near McAdoo 27 years. He married Ethel Smith in Crosbyton in 1934. He was a member of the Crosbyton Masonic Lodge No. 1022 and the McAdoo Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Larry Winkler of Littlefield and Mrs. Jerry Pebsworth of Tahoka; two brothers, Alton and Cleveland, both of Crosbyton; and three sisters, Mrs. Banty Branndon and Mrs. Joe Gibson, both of Roaring Springs, and Mrs. Virgil Scott of Tulia.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Warshaw, V. V. Scott, LeRoy Scott, Clemon Scott, George Scott, Pepper Nichols and Jerry Smith.
