Obituary

U.S.Flag CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Clevie B. Maze, 64, of Crosbyton, will be at 4 p.m. today at Crosbyton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Al Jennings, pastor, and the Rev. Johnnie Williams, retired Methodist minister of Lubbock, officiating.

Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary´s Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Bell County. He married Tookie Starrett on April 4, 1947, in Floydada. He was a World War II veteran and a former member of the Crosbyton Volunteer Fire Department. He had lived in Crosbyton since 1927.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Conda of Lubbock; and two sisters, Mrs. Banty (Sybol) Brandon of Roaring Springs and Mrs. Virgie (Jeraldine) Scott of Tulia.
