CROSBYTON (Special) - Graveside services for J. H. Lemley, 74, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Cemetery with Elder George Johnson of the Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church officiating.
Interment is under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Lemley died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday at Lubbock´s University Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Palo Pinto County and had spent most of his life in Crosbyton before moving to Lubbock this year. He was a barber and a World War II veteran. He was a life member of Lubbock VFW Post 2466, where he received a 49-year-pin. He was a graduate of Crosbyton High School and of the Texas Tech University business school.
Survivors include four sons, Richard and Mike, both of Lubbock, George of Austin and James of San Angelo; a daughter, Barbara Peitsch of Rogers, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to noon and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
