Rites Arranged For Mrs. Karr

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Mrs. Effie Pauline Karr, 55, of Fort Worth, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in King Funeral Home Cahpel with the Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor of the First Baptist Church here, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Mrs. Karr, who lived in Crosbyton from 1935 until 1957 when she moved to Fort Worth, died at 6 a.m. Thursday at her Fort Worth home.

Her husband, Roy Karr Sr., died three months ago. He was a former county commissioner and tax assessor-collector of Crosby County.

Mrs. Karr was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton.

Survivors include a son, Roy Jr. of Fort Worth; a daughter, Yvonne Wake of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Calvin Finley of Claude and Mrs. R. C. Rengar of Amarillo; a brother, Albert Miller of Houston; and three grandchildren.
