CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Oran B. Hefner, 77, a retired farmer and businessman, will be at 3 p.m. today in the First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. Henry Salley, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.
Hefner, a native of Western Grove, Ark., died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock following an extended illness. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion and the First United Methodist Church. He came to Crosbyton in 1926. He served as a director of the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Belle; two sons, Joe M. of 3103 42nd St. in Lubbock and Neal of 46010 11th St. in Lubbock; four sisters, Mrs. Gertie Smith and Mrs. Theva Elliott, both of Winter Gardens, Fla.; Mrs. Opal Dickerson of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Otta Lee Elkins of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren.
