Rosary of Gilbert Guzman, 20, of Amarillo, was recited at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 1990 in San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton with the Rev. Tom Parampil officiating.

Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 1990 in the same church and with the same officiant.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died Saturday, Oct. 6, 1990 in Albuquerque, N.M., from injuries suffered in a fight earlier in the week.

He was born in Lubbock and graduated from Ralls High School. He married Diana DeLeon in Crosbyton. He worked at Big Eight Supermarket in Alamogordo, N.M. and was Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Ashley of Brownfield; his mother, Irene Guzman of Amarillo; his maternal grandmother, Magdelina Ruiz of Crosbyton; two brothers, Peter of Alamogordo and Ray of Amarillo; two sisters, Joannah Guzman of Lubbock and Melissa Reyna of Ralls; and his paternal grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Epifanio Guzman of Amarillo.
