CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Charlie Clyde Green, 72, of Crosbyton are slated at 2 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home there.
Green died at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Hunt County, he moved to Crosby County in 1933 from Fannin County. He lived a short while in Ropesville. He was married to Mamie Webster in Fannin County on Feb. 6, 1925. Green was a member of First United Methodist Church here and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Long of Midland; two brothers, Bob of Crosbyton and John of Olney; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Wodruff of Wolfe City, Mrs. Leona Ivey of Leonard and Mrs. Ruth Thomas of Lubbock; and six grandchildren.
