CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Charlie Clyde Green, 72, of Crosbyton are slated at 2 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home there.

Green died at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a short illness.

A native of Hunt County, he moved to Crosby County in 1933 from Fannin County. He lived a short while in Ropesville. He was married to Mamie Webster in Fannin County on Feb. 6, 1925. Green was a member of First United Methodist Church here and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Long of Midland; two brothers, Bob of Crosbyton and John of Olney; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Wodruff of Wolfe City, Mrs. Leona Ivey of Leonard and Mrs. Ruth Thomas of Lubbock; and six grandchildren.
